Our Location

We are located in the charming Village of Williams Bay, WI, across the lake from the town of Lake Geneva. As part of the Geneva Lakes area, the region is historically known as a resort location for wealthy Chicago families who flocked to the area after the Chicago Fire of 1871. Summer mansions were built by families while waiting for the City of Chicago to be rebuilt. Today, the banks of Geneva Lake are still lined with these magnificent mansions, and it remains a popular area for residents and visitors alike.

During the summer months, the campus is host to Music by the Lake, an outdoor music festival that began on our grounds in 1961. During the years that followed, Music by the Lake welcomed the likes of Isaac Stern, John Denver, Doc Severinsen and many more luminaries of stage and screen. Revived in 2001, Music by the Lake has recently featured Michael Bolton, Kenny Loggins, The Irish Tenors, Manhattan Transfer, Gaelic Storm and original productions of "Madama Butterfly," "Brigadoon" and many others. Current season information and past highlights can be found at musicbythelake.com.

There is always something happening in the Lake Geneva area, no matter what time of year it is. Be sure to visit the Lake Geneva Chamber of Commerce website at lakegenevawi.com and the Walworth County Convention and Visitors Bureau site at visitwalworthcounty.com for a calendar of events, ideas on where to dine and shop and so much more!

Centrally located, we are in close proximity to four major metropolitan areas—about an hour from Milwaukee, Madison and Rockford and two hours from downtown Chicago.
